Anyone who is a nurse or knows anything about chemistry/nursing PLEASE HELP!?

i've got a stupid chemistry project and we're supposed to write about how a nurse might use chemistry in their job. Any specific examples would be great!

Well a good and easy place to start would be to look at peroxide. How it interacts when dropped on a cut, also the use of any medicine is a chemical reaction.
