I work as a nurse, do you think your job is better or worse?

Mine is better. I was a nurse for over 30 years. Now I am mostly retired, but I do some consulting and writing, and a little research.

Wendy.Bryan seems to have a tremendous grasp of the responsibilities of an RN. In 30 years, I never cleaned up vomit or feces, I must have missed the major part of being a nurse. I guess I was too involved with coordinating care, arranging for the patient's needs, analyzing the patient's condition and planning nursing interventions, and then later on in my career, diagnosing, prescribing and ordering test for patients. If only I had known the main focus of the profession was vomit and feces.

I'm an engineer and would prefer my job. However, I can see how a reasonable person could disagree.

I think is better because is part of a doctor thing.

My job is worse... I don't have one!

Some people make good nurses, other do not. I can't deal with cleaning up people's vomit and feces, frankly, though I wouldn't have trouble with injections or other minor procedures. So your job is good for you, and mine is good for me.

well I own a landscaping company..but I feel your job is much more important!!
