Wondering how other student nurses are getting on finding a job?

my friend qualifies in 5 months and iv still got a year to go, just interested to see how everyone else is finding the job situation?

in the uk please x

I have just completed a return to practice course and am looking for work. A lot depends on what area you live in. Contact hospital Nurse Recriutment specilaists and ask them if you can send in a generic application form. There are jobs there for newly qualified staff but you will need to try any and every avenue.

There are lots of exciting jobs available for newly trained nurses, Mc Donalds, Tesco, Burger King to name but 3.
Nursing jobs really require experience so experienced Polish nurses are preferred. to newly trained sprogs, perhaps you should apply for posts in Poland ;Lithuania or Khazakstan to gain experience.
