Do you think being a nurse is a great job? I learned it pays well.?

great job.

you can be a traveling nurse while you're young and actually CAN travel. If you get y our masters degree you can be a nurse practitioner in many states running your own clinic and actually write prescriptions.

You can pick and choose what area of medicine you want to be involved in and actually move up to management.

Don't forget to continue your education after you finish school and get your RN. Education is the key to any promotions.

Good luck. You won't regret it

My dad has been a nurse all of my life. It does pay very well especially on a contract basis. If you like travel and money you might want to check in to that.

its not a great job but it does pay well.

I love being a nurse, midwifery - It truly is a beautiful profession.

it is a job that requires a lot of patience, love, tolerance and sacrifice, and esp. humility to serve the patients. last but not least a commitment of wanting to stick to the job even if you face tough challenges either from fellow nurses, doctors or patients. we are talking more about character refining rather than the pay package. cheers.
