Is being a prenatal nurse a very stressful job? |
Is being a prenatal nurse a very stressful job? Prenatal would be before the baby is born, not after (neonatal), so you are asking about like a clinic nurse or antepartum nurse (had preterm labor, stopped in hospital & on bedrest in hospital). Antepartum can be b/c you sre usually dealing with moms to be who are bored & tired of being in the hospital, not to mention that they are high risk for preterm labor, and a clinic nurse is not too stressful. It can be, my cousin use to work in the nursery at the hospital and she said it can be stressful making sure all the babies are ok and well taken care of and watching for signs of any problems and making sure the right baby goes to the right mother and things like that but she said it was a great job. It can be but it has it rewards.I work here in Washington,DC on a neo-natal unit and it's alot better than working and dealing with grown folks!lol |
