Where are the best places for nurses to apply for a job with less than a year of expericence?

Most places want you to have at least one year of experience in nursing.

You have to pay your dues. Usually nursing homes are willing to take a chance.

My wife recently returned to nursing after being out a number of years. She found a hospital floor manager who was willing to assign a preceptor to her. It has been extremely difficult to get up to speed and she learns new things every day.

Presently she is working nights with a team of 6 patients. The hospital where she found acceptance is 30 miles from home. You too may have to look for a floor manager or a nursing home who will give you an opportunity.
