I'm Planning to migrate and find a job as a nurse in Canada..but where?

i know there are 10 provinces and 3 territories in Canada, among this places, where would you recommend a nurse like me go? which among the provinces has a high economic status, population, and the most appealing place to live? thank you

As a nurse you can probably find work just about anywhere in Canada, but if you want an area with a high economic profile you probably want the Toronto area or Calgary or Vancouver. The other part of your question "more appealing place to live" would be a different answer - in that case, go for Atlantic Canada. Quality of life might be much better in a more rural area. If you want a little adventure consider the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, or Labrador.

defintely Toronto

Toronto,Ontario
Montreal, Quebec
Vancouver,British Colombia
Calgary,Alberta

choice is yours ;)

I understand Winnipeg will soon have an opening for one nurse !!!!!!!! ( Read the recent news and you will see what I mean !!! )

Its better you go to Calgary area, that is booming and industrial. You will get better pay.

You'd be welcome almost anywhere. Alberta and Sask. have a booming economy but the cost of housing in Alberta is outrageous. Please be sure your credentials are valid here I would hate to see you move here only to find out your qualifications are not recognized in Canada

Ontario is pretty bad right now for health care professionals. I see jobs ads all the time for RN positions. On the other hand out west is lacking people for jobs.

Out east though there isn't many jobs and the pay is a bit lower.

I would suggest you take a look at a few cities you are considering and look on local hospital websites and employment sections in major newspapers and see if you come across any positions to be filled. That may also give you an idea of the pay range too.

go to the North West Territories you'll love it
