I have a felony i was a cna.! And is hard to get any job now. No one will hire me with a felony now help me.?

Need some answers in way to better myself and get this of my record so i can keep doing nursing and fined a job that will let me work. And on probation

I agree with the first person who answered- your state licensing office should be able to provide you with the appropriate answer. Depending on what you did to get the felony charge and how long ago it occurred might play a role in how potential employers are looking at your applications.

If I were you I would check with an attorney to see what and if anything can be done so you can work again. It might not be a matter of businesses not wanting to hire you- depending on your state, they might be prohibited from hiring you.

See what you can do to get your felony mess cleaned up; meanwhile look for work elsewhere until you know where you stand for sure.

You have to check with your local state laws and statutes, but most states bar felons from working in the healthcare industry.

You can try and get your record expunged, but most of the time you have to wait a certain number of years (for example, 15 years from the date your probation ended) and some felonies CAN NOT be removed. Example, murder, homicide and sex crimes.

Check with a lawyer in your state about expunging your record, but you may be faced with having to wait a number of years before doing so.

I doubt that you can not get a job again as a cna.. Until your violations will end in about 7 years off your record or maybe not depending on the problem.. I would suggest that you go to a staffing firm and go from there because some place have the right not to hire you based on that felony...

Your going to have to give up the ghost and try and turn your cna into something else. Can't work in the health industery with felony, for what ever reason. Contact lawyer or D>A> office. There are forms that can be filled out requesting a leaniancy on your record. Felony will not be exponged, must go through steps to get there. Also dependes on what type of felony. First request will bring it to misdamenor and next request may get it exponged from record, kind of like a sppeding ticket will be dropped to defective vehicle if you go talk to the judge. There is a waiting period that you must go through to file. Working with chilren and money will pretty much be out to. Try pharmisudicals (as long as felony wasn't drug related). Suppliers for health care products, or go to your local job resource center and show up on a regular basis and get to know your counsler, they always know people who are willing to take a chance or give another try. GL! I applaued you, don't give up, it will happen. P>S< there is a question on this sight about how hard is the cna test, she sounds really nervouse, maybe you should help her out:)
