Isn't it part of a nurse's job to wash her patients' feet if they are stinky? |
Isn't it part of a nurse's job to wash her patients' feet if they are stinky? there are assistive personal to "delegate" those types of duties too, but depending on who the patient is, the nurse might want to do it herself...maybe with a really bristly, scratchy brush that kind of hurts yep! FEBREZE WILL DO THE JOB amongst other things... yes other Wise it is neglect yup!! its all part of the job and i'd be looking forward to do those things in the near future! No, that would be the nursing assistant's job. If there isn't an aid to do the stinky work and the pt. can't... then YESS! only if you can't physically do it yourself It's her job to encourage the patient to be as self sufficient as possible. If they do need the help, hopefully the nurse treats her aides well enough they'll want to do it for her. things like washing and feeding are usually preformed by PCT-patient care techs or LVN- liscensed vocational nurses. |

No.....not a ton....MILLIONS!! In every state there are literally thousands of vacant nursing jobs. Nurses are in suck high demand, and always will be. There will never be a time when people won... Go for nursing it's so in demand and you'll have tons more stability. Do some media prodcution work on the side,mabye some independent contract work for instance. That way you have the b... I would go with whatever job your are more satisfied or happy with. Chances are that you will perform better in a place where you like as opposed to working either because the pay is great or offer... i am a nurse practitioner i can say that its very stressful~ ...I positively love working as a L&D nurse. I just was not cut out to be a "sick, old people" nurse, lol. I worked in cardiac step-down for awhile, and hated every minute of it. I l... I am not an anesthesist or PA but I am a surgical nurse. Both jobs can be stressful. In anesthesia the pt. in is your hands during surgery. They really have to stay on top of everything that is go... Absolutetly if you are willing to go.
