I'm anxious about starting my new job as auxiliary nurse.any tips on overcoming this?

I'm very happy that I've got the job as auxiliary nurse, although I am also very apprehensive about my new role as I am aware that its a very stressful and busy job to do. I would be grateful of any advice on overcoming my nerves on my first day.

First thing-you are'nt there for anyone but the patients, right? You are there to help people in need, not run for office. The only thing you need to be is: On time, rested, a smile on your face. It's your first day!>That's the BEST day! You will be "learning" their policies/procedures, and meeting everyone! After you learn all "the stuff", they turn you loose to have real fun: the patients who depend on YOU, to care for them, make them smile.
Have a fun first day and RELAX! The only person you need to impress is GOD.
