Applying for a new nurse's job? |
I am an LVN and have been working in the same postion for almost 20years. I want to apply for a home health job but I'm worried about what kind of test I might have to take. It's been a long time since I have had to take a test! Any ideals on what I might have to brush up on? do you have vent training?? take a vent course if you don't if you live in california i will let you know about an 8 hour course for $25.00 doolars also it is just a basic med test! i just did one a few months ago if you are going to do peds then read read read!!! otherwise basic stuff!! check this link its good |

A patients record is a legal document, thus it is important as a nurse to be able to write legibly & to understand the process of documentation as to not incrimidate yourself nore the facility ... You could do a correlational (post hoc) type study. You could survey current nurses (or better - get the actual data from their employers) and ask about rates of med errors.
