What job can i be doing while being a nursing student? I have no experience in any medical facility.? try and get work at local doctors office as a medical asst. Since you are a nursing student you should know the nuts and bolts of medical assting. Being a nursing student should give you some merit and should carry a little weight in finding something in the health field. If not there then try something small like a retirement home or YMCA or Red Cross or somethnig to that extent. It'll look good on your resume and should, hopefully, give you some pocket change to go along with it. usually the cross or ymca can be done as a weekend gig. they have lots of volunteers so scheduling won't be an issue. neither should experience since both of those places you learn as you go. Report It Have you gotten your cna1 or 2 yet. If so you can work in offices, hospitals or home health..Many place will hire you just because you are a nursing student. volunteer with a non-profit organization and/or in a hospital. most nursing homes would put you in their cna class..or you can apply for your nursing assistant license and work in a drs. offce...i truly believe to be a good nurse -students should expierence all aspects of nursing..you will have more of appreciation for your nursing team later. |
