Where can I find a good paying health care job in Douglasville, Ga. I am a nursing student but can't get a job Call every nursing home and hospital you can find. Ask nicely if they have any part-time positions. If they say no, ask if they know any other facilities in the area? (you don't have to add "that might be hiring", they won't know and you can call and find out. Maybe tell them you're new to the area (the ones you call who don't have jobs). People love to help, even if they can't help. Also, ask at all your clinical sites if they have openings or if you could be employed per diem (on call or as needed). These jobs may not be good paying, but the experience is valuable. |
