Do you think that the hardest job to have is being a nursing asst?

Do you think that the hardest job to have is being a nursing asst?

I can think of some harder jobs...teaching would be one of them.

yes because you have to love, be concerned , do the dirty work all at the same time!

yes because you have to deal with ignorant nurses and incompetent upper management

Give me a break. A nursing ***. is easier than just about any other job. They are not even educated enough to be a simple nurse for goodness sake. A janitor even has a tougher job.

try being a doctor

Yes, and no. I'm a nurse and I think I know where you are coming from. I will tell you that if you are a good one, you are worth your weight in gold. God bless you................

yes and no. it really depends on the people you work with. when you have nurses and doctors that treat you with respect adn realize that you are an important part of the patients care then i would have to say no. But when you have the one person who makes you feel that you are lower on the totem pole and just there to do the dirty work it really sucks. i have done it for years and i agree it is a hard job sometimes but that one patient who smiles and says hey thank you does make the difference.
