What Incentives offers do you know about for Nursing Jobs? and where?

I am just wondering what kinds of nursing incentives are out there to attract people to nursing jobs. Ie: in B.C all i know of is the B.C loan forgiveness program but I am looking for more site specific incentives, US or Canada.

The last I knew, and it's been a couple of years, the hospitals near me (upstate NY) offered a cash incentives (I think that it was two thousand) PLUS the student loan forgiveness.
You get a sign on bonus, plus an amount after six months, and the rest at the one year anniversary.
Also, if you are an employee that refers someone else, you get a sign on bonus, and another bonus after the person you referred has been there a year.
It is in a student's best interest to get student loans, and NOT pay their way through college....there isn't any other replacement bonus if you don't need the loan forgiveness.

If having trouble finding a job of nursing in a hospital, look for Home Health care jobs in papers or call your local Home Health Care Facilities in your area.

You get to empty bed pans and everything!!

THE BEST ANSWER, DON'T BECOME A NURSE 90% OF THE NURSES I KNOW HATE THEIR JOBS!
