What do you think about nursing? and what is your job? |
What do you think about nursing? and what is your job? the greatest profession I don't think about nursing and I am a Paralegal Very good poffesion, demanding and integrul in the health care system. nurses are the ones that really serve patients. a good nurse is worth several doctors. I think nursing would be a great job, I am just not comfortable enough to be a nurse. However, I am fixing to start working in the Health care field as a Medical Office Professional. 1 We need more of them!!! those who are going into nursing are there to help others, i think it is an excelent profession. very demanding but rewarding. i work for children's hospital in the patient accounting department i dunno. its just a job. bt i think it needs lots of kindness and patients and able to look at gross things and not throw up. I haven't nursed since I was only a few months old, but I don't know what that has to do with my current job in accounting. Nurses are the back bone of the nhs overworked and underpaid!!!!!! nursing makes you a lot of money and lets you work after hours which is great if you have kids, only you have to work hard and not be afraid of blood, my job is to keep sanity in. Nursing is a great career! Go to school for your LVN and then start working like that. Go to school on your off-shift for your RN. That is where the real money is at. I have several friends who are nurses. Personally, I dont like blood. I am a Real Estate Agent and a Property Manager for an apartment community. Good Luck! its a good job, if you can do it, I don't think I could! I hate needles!! and I work for the state of Tennessee as a career adviser, I guess you could say I work in an employment agency!!?? I think nursing is a great profession! If you are the compassionate and straightforward type, I say go for it. I'm in communications for a non-profit organization. Did you mean nursing as in nursing a baby or nursing as a profession? I have been a nurse for over 33 years and love what I do. I work in a nursing home and care for a wide variety of patients. "The noblest profession is service to another" -unknown (to me at least) Investment banking. When making investments, you look at long-term trends. There is a long-term shortage of nurses. If you like to help people, it is an area with a good job outlook. It is one area where it can't be easily exported overseas for cheaper labor! I used to work as a nurse for some 7 years but eventually changed my career because I wasn't happy due to personal reasons. Now I'm unemployed and looking for another job where I live here in Italy but it's not easy at all. I would never want to be a nurse, needles are my greatest fear as are doctor's, it's also a thankless job, like most jobs, but I'm sure it pays decently. I have had a long line of crap jobs and still don't have a career. I think its one of the greatest professions. I couldn't be a nurse, though I wanted to be, my stomach is weak and sick, i pass out at the sight of blood and vomit. I have a sister and a sister-in-law going for it, but it's not for me. I am a receptionist for a doctor, and that is quite enough (for me). am an lpn/lvn and have been since 1991.thinking about career change but wont give up part-time nursing lol |
