If you had a daughter, would you want her to only have a feminine job like homemaking or nursing?

If I had a daughter I would not want her doing masculine jobs like construction work or governing.

No. I'd want her to live to her full potential.
My sister is a specialized engineer. There are only about 5 women in the country who do what she does. Companies call HER and ASK her to please apply for the position they have open.
Oh, and she is also one hell of a good mother and cook -- my sister has it all and uses it.
That's what I want for my girls.

禄 No. That`s pretty sexist.

She can do whatever she wants, as long as it's not stripping.

What does it matter? its her choice! =]

it's up to her i wouldn't stop her from doing what she love

no im 14 and im goning to go into construction because it is something that appeals to me.

I do have a daughter and I want her to have a
job she believes in and enjoys. It doesn't matter
if it is "feminine" or not. That is just plain nonsense.

I want my daughter to do what ever the hell she wants, there shouldn't be any such thing as masculine or feminine jobs
WELCOME TO THE 21ST CENTURY

I wouldn't care whether what she did fit society's definition of how women should behave...

i would advice her to pick the job that offers most money, but then its up to her.

that is so ridiculous, get with the times. if i had a daughter i would want her to do exactly what she wants and as long as she gave it her all and was proud and happy, then i would be as well. i think it is awesome when a women can take care of herself and lets a man help her not because she can't do it, but because she likes being helped from someone she loves. i can't stand families where all the women turn to all the men in the family for absolutely everything. it makes the women look weak useless. i let my man help because i know he likes to help me and sometimes it's nice to relax but i know i can do most things and i am proud of it too!

I would want my daughter to do anything she wanted to do and be all that she could be. The sky would be the limit.
Thanks

No, as long as her job makes her happy and it's was she likes.
I f you had a boy would you let him do a feminine job?
Maybe I have been living in a cave but, how many feminine jobs are done by males?
We have male nurses, male nursing assistants male secretaries, male receptionist

I would want her to do whatever it was she truly wanted to do with her career. (within reason of course)

I'd be kinda upset if I had a daughter and she decided to be a construction worker or a truck driver. A job like nursing would be okay, but it would be best if she was doing a job that she loved.

She's becoming a corporate lawyer

It depends on what she wants as long is not a man's job.

no, i think she should do whatever pleases her and find a man she is attracted to at her level..if she desires to submit then wonderful, but she should still be sucessful in her job!!

I'd like her to have the confidence to follow her dreams, and to feel fulfilled. I chose to submit, she may not. If she's happy and safe, I'm ok with anything.

She can be who she wants to be what ever brings her happiness

Ive had three two who became carers for the eldwrly and the other shop assistant. But it was their choice i was happy with what they wanted to do ..........I was a POSTWOMAN and loved it .

I have to agree with Silly Rabbit on this. I have 2 girls and they can do whatever they want as long as it's not stripping or anything of the sort for that matter

Well if you don't want her in a masculine job, don't encourage nursing, lol.

I'm a OR nurse. I do lot's of heavy lifting; work with equipment that involves troubleshooting water hook ups/plumbing, cabling/AV set ups, and/or electrity; assemble equipment/instruments with power equipment; and the list goes on.

Don't assume a job is feminine just because the profession is primarily made up of women.
