Psychology/nursing jobs?

I am a nursing major but am so interested in psychology and have loved taking pysch. classes. are their any jobs available that incooropate both nursing and psychology? I am planning on getting my masters in nursing...do i need to double major? (that will probally be too intense since nursing is a hard major) i tried looking for jobs that could incoorporate both nursing and pysch. but didnt have a lot of luck! thank u in advance for any help! :]

You can be a psych nurse! There is a whole specialty for it. All you need to start working in a psych facility is your RN license and a facility willing to train you - which usually isn't hard to find. Psych isn't among the more popular fields in nursing. You can go on to earn a master's degree which specializes in psych, such as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatry.

You could go for a double major or major in nursing and minor in psych and it would be great knowledge for you, but it's not required or anything.

Good luck!
