What's a good part time job for a nursing student.?

as a nursing assistant.
Especially at the place that you want to work as a Nurse. They will be more likely to hire you after you graduate if you are a good employee. Also, you will gain experience, which improves your marketability, confidence.
When you are a nurse, you will understand an assistants job, which will make you better to work for. As an assistant, many nurses will show you what their job entails, how they do their job (some show you how NOT to be a nurse- by their example).
Many states allow nursing students to test as a CNA once 1st semester of clinicals are completed, without taking yet another class, and facilities pay for the test. Some schools will allow you to CLEP your 1st clinical if you are already a CNA.
When I was in school ,that's what I did. I also noticed that the nurses I worked for were very open to teaching me anything I needed to learn- If I had trouble with school, I had a bunch of free tutors! Now as a nurse, I pay-it-forward. I love to work with nursing students!

Nurses make GREAT medical transcriptionists! It's a great way to make money while in nursing school!
