Nursing jobs in Tempe, az? |
Are there any hospital jobs in the Tempe (or surrounding) areas, or will I be relegated to the nursing home and home health? I've already looked on the major job search engines, but I don't see much. We will be relocating there in September and I just want to get a head start on getting some leads. Thanks... I don't know how i missed putting this in the original question, but I'm an LPN. I've got experience in a hospital, nursing home and in corrections. There are TONS of hospitals in Phoenix and Tempe. I personally work for Maricopa Medical Center or "county hospital" which has the Arizona Burn Center (the only burn center in the southwest, and 2nd largest in the nation). There are a number of hospitals that are near Tempe- the maricopa county hospital, St. Lukes and Phx Children's hospital-all are near 24th St and McDowell. St. Joe's and Barrows Neurological are at 3rd St and Thomas. J.C Lincoln is a bit farther away-more north, and there's some in Scottsdale but you have many to choose from. Try monster.com,and azcentral.com for ads. this depends on what type of nursing you are talking about. Although I am not a doctor or nurse (but a Future Doctor :)) I can say I reccommend Banner Good Samartain Medical Senter in Phoenix. They have been featured on many health shows because of their high quality of care. They have been on Birth Day, and Trauma: Life in the ER. |
