Just moved and having a hard time finding a job due to the nursing requirements here in DC? |
The nursing requirements in Va,Beach is alot different.Any good sites or ideas.They're telling me I might have to redo a class or two here.The meds in Va are already caculated and here their telling me you haf to do the calculations.I can work in Northern Va they'll take my nursing license.Do you know any sites I can go to that will be helpful? It must just be the difference in the licensing. I'd suggest going to a good community college in DC and meeting with a counselor. Bring your transcripts from where you did your coursework before and see if they can help you. They should let you know if there's a requirement you didn't meet or if you need to retake any tests or anything. Here in Las Vegas there are many jobs in the nursing field. Though about Las Vegas? |
