are nurses allowed to insert nasogastric tubes? Yes. Inserting nasogastric tubes is a common job for both LPNs (licensed practical nurse) and RNs (registered nurse). Yes, all the time, every day... I'm guessing LPN or LVN not , Both LPN's and RN's insert all the time. |
