For you other mums out there, can you help? Docs, nurses, or dermitologists, too?

When I had my baby girl; I got big in the stomach region, really big. (So, duh, lol, just hold on a minute.) In the process of doing so, I also got quite a bit of stretch marks. It's totally worth it for my little girl, but it makes me feel a little self conscience sometimes. My husband's good about it, says he never notices it; always moves my hands or moves me if I try to cover it at all. I just want to know if there's a way to make them not show up as much? It's not like it's made me totally ashamed of my body or anything, I know I've been alot luckier than some women are in terms of what pregnancy does to the body; I just hope there's a way to minimize the appearance of the stretch marks? I know there probably isn't, but better ask and find out there is than always just wonder about it.

And yes, in advance, as well, I know they fade with time. It's been a year almost exactly since she's been born, nd my stomach's gone back to the size it was originally before she was born, it's just saggy a bit, and has more lines on it that a bloody road map does, lol... And they have faded a bit, I just want to know if there's a way to make them fade more? Or at least, less obvious?

Vit E cream or cocoa butter works well. Usually the marks fade to white after awhile and are not as noticeable. Just enjoy the baby and he says he doesn't care be happy that he is this way. He loves you.

there are cremes you can get to reduce the look but really, the best solution is just wait, they will fade to almost invisible with time.

Rub vitamin E caps (the liquid gel in the middle kind...break them open),on them or get laser surgery.

Cocoa butter when they are still new.
