Mouse delivered litter....? |
Ok I have been breeding mice and ran into a problem i never had before... The female mouse died... I tried to nurse it back... I guess I was to late why do you think was the reason anyone? I would nurse the female back to health if you can; if she was hurt defending her litter, she will probably recover. But if she has some more serious condition, she may die and this may have been why she couldn't care for her litter. I used to work for a lab in the part that bred the mice. We actually came across this frequently. I don't know what causes it but we usually put them down. They usually just get too dehydrated to try and save. I would at lease try to save it, give it a chance. =] |
