Thrush in breasts? Itching?

My baby has thrush in her mouth, and I have it in my breasts. After weeks of unidentified pain in my nipples, I finally found out it was thrush. The doctor gave us medicine to apply to her mouth and to my breasts.

I can't speak for my baby, but the pain in my breasts is all but gone. But now they itch like mad. It's not a burning, just itchy.

Is this part of the healing process or is it still the thrush? I just want us to get back to our happy, comfortable nursing relationship again!!!

Thanks for the advice.

Yes, I had the same itchiness when I was healing. You will be back to your comfortable nursing soon, hang in there!
