Are nurses in high demand in Canada and UK? |
AS AN AMERICAN NURSE CAN I MOVE TO ANYONE OF THESE COUNTRIES TO WORK AND ALSO BE ABLE TO BRING MY SPOUSE AND CHILD TOO. WILL MY SPOUSE BE ALSO GIVEN A WORKER'S PERMIT/VISA. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE PROCESS? I would say you would stand a pretty good chance in the uk, as far as I am aware they are still in demand. I am a nurse who worked in the uk and now moved to the caribbean! You don't need any more qualifications and entry for you shouldn't be a problem and as long as you are married your husband should not have a problem. My advice would be to contact thye NHS re: work as a nurse or look at agencies based in the uk, and contact immigration directly about your husband! yeah, and porno too Of course you can.As soon as you've got at least a diploma in gneral nursing you can move anywhere. And yes, there's a shortage of nurses in the UK.In Canada I don't know though.Anyway, just search on the Internet and you'll find plenty of agencies and so on looking for nurses. Nurses are in high demand everywhere and you can probably be hired before you make the move. As to your husband & child obviously you will not wish to be separated so check with immigration rules for both Canada & U.K. before you do anything. I just wonder why you want to leave the U.S. as the pay is surely higher there and the U.S. seems to be recruiting all the trained nurses they can get from Canada & the U.K. There is a shortage in both countries, but it is due to low pay more than anything - so consider your choices before moving from the US www.cic.gc.ca if the web site for Canadian immigration. You chances will be better if you husband also has a skill that is in short supply. But add up your points and see how it looks. You can apply for a skilled worker category to emigrate to Canada but you need one full year of experience after graduation, and the process can take as much as 2 years (which gives you more work experience while you wait). Once your whole family have emigrated, all adults are free to work for anyone and anywhere they choose. |
