I live in cleveland, ohio. I am trying to find a school to attend to get an associates in nursing. All the p

rograms and schools have such a long wait. Is there anything I can do to speed up the process.

Most nursing schools use some sort of points system when deciding who gets into the program. You get more points if you have a higher GPA, higher ACT score, more general education requirements for the degree that are completed, etc.

If this is the kind of admissions process the schools you're looking into are using, then just work hard. But most people do have to wait at least 6 months to a year or more before getting into a program.

If you're serious about being a nurse, you'll tough it out and wait til you can get in. Good luck.

There arent enough instuctors to teach all of the nursing students. So that's why there's such a delay in getting into your nursing classes. Good luck!

At many schools, the wait is less for an LPN. I would try that route, even if your real goal is to become an RN.
