did she really say "nurses are nothing more than glorified waitresses and we should do away with the profession"???

i just got an email about this and i'm unsure about the validity of these points....could someone clarify for me and maybe guide me to where i can find info about these items.

If it is a chain email I would not believe it. It is hard to prove anything like that and unless the email provided sources I would just discredit it.
Also keep in mind she is a politician and that really doesnt sound like something a politician who is in the public eye would say or do.

I'm not sure why Senator Clinton would denigrate the nursing profession. That doesn't sound like something she would say, considering her stance on healthcare. It sounds like Republican propaganda.

Hillary would never say that and if you google it nothing comes up so it souds like a regular republican scam to try and disinfrancise voters.

I'm not sure about her meeting with the "Gold Star Mothers," who, by the way, I don't know anything about but I'm assuming it's military-related (?).

As for the quote, Hillary is too smart to ever, ever, ever utter something like that. Whether she believed it or not. The woman's had to watch her back for eons now so I'm sure she's very thoughtful about any words that come out of her mouth.

Those are probably things she said, but using them alone will make you look petty.

The statement about nurses is true... i do not recall the exact date however i do recall working on the med/surg floor and the overall feeling of despair... not long after that the patient to nurse ratios were reevaluated and the system for acuity given to a patient was restructured. then the nurses went from having 6-7 moderately heavy patients to 8-9 patients and some times very heavy patients. if i had the article , or the tape i would broadcast it from every station. If anyone does have a copy of this please share it with the world.
