Male nurses female doctors?

What do you think about male nurses and female doctors? Are you/would you be comfortable with a male nurse caring for you hands on in a hospital setting? Are you/would you be comfortable with a female doctor in same way?

What do you think of gender in relation to suitability for either of these health care professions?

I have no problem with that. It's not about gender, it's about profession. Male nurses can be thoughtful as female, female doctors can be professional as male.

I HEART
FEMALE NURSES

What is this, the 1950's?

gender doesn't matter, if u don't feel comfortable thats ur fault. I have had a female doctor and a male doctor and both are just fine. Just stop worrying about nonsense stuff and just be happy that ur getting taken care of!!!
=]

i think that it b nice if there was an hospital with only female nurses and doctors, this is cuz im a guy, the fact is that, the opposite sex feels more relieved and more calm...

I have worked with them and had care by them in every combination. I have worked in health care for 11 years and my impression is that female doctors tend to care more and to listen. Male doctors not as much.
Male and female nurses are comparable and i would let either care for me.
I am a male and have no problem with either group.

they are all educated professionals, so, to me it does'nt matter

I have never had a male nurse while I was in the hospital, however, lady doctors seem to care more than their male counterparts and seem more professional. At least to me.

I think that in general there is more stigma towards male nurses than towards female doctors. Personally, as long as their friendly and knowledgable about their job, let the man/woman work. Gender has nothing to do with it.

Actually, if I had to see a doctor I would only allow a female doctor to see me. When I was 15, I experienced very inappropriate behavior from a male gynocologist, and it freaked me out for life! But that's just me because of what I experienced. I actually think the male doctor/female nurse thing is quite stereotypical. I don't think gender makes a difference in ANY career choice.

the bi tches are supposed to be the nurses imo
