Salary information? |
I am considering changing my major to Clinical Lab Science/Medical Technology. I am currently a nursing major. I was wondering if the salaries of the two professions were comparable. Salary.com is a good source of information. While the site will not directly compare the profession, you will see the salary distribution of people's salary in your area and profession. Agreed with the other guy. salary.com is good, but some of it is off just a tad. It does give you a ballpark figure of the generalized salary in your profession/area. Nurses make more in the long run. I know a nurse with 20 years experience and she is making $80,000 with an associate's. I am a Medical Technologist by profession. Nurses and CLS/MTs differ in their salaries but would depend on which area they are employed in the US. However,they are both high paying jobs in the US.
