Do Nurses get Cancer more often than other professions? If so, it is purely coincidential. Cancer occurs from tumors in your body. You body basically begins attacking itself. You body tries to fight an "intruder" when that intruder is itself! And, it has absolutely nothing to do with your profession. Probably not.... um.. exactly why would they? cancer is not contagious... No women who stay at home are 50% more likely to get cancer because of all the toxic cleaning and laundry products they are exposed to more often. No. I am a nurse and that is a strange question. Like someone else said, cancer is not contagious, and nurses are not around cancer causing agents more than anyone else. Depends, if you are a nurse than you should know better than that, and if not then no Totally NOT. Unless, they are frequently exposed to radiation. I'm talking about nurses who are working in the radiology department..... They are just women, and have the same risks. Doc8: nurses are not just women. Don't be ridiculous! There are many men who are nurses. More men are entering the profession every year. That was a very sexist comment. |
