What is the best way NOT to get sick this fall/winter?

I dont like orange juice b/c its too acidic but i know it has a lot of vitamin C. Mid terms are less than 2 wks away & i need to be well. I feel like im getting a little bit of a cold. I just used some Zicam, but i dont think thats enough. Any other ways that i can build my immunity w/out having to drink acidic drinks (e.g. oj, apple juice, etc.)? I have a multivitamin that i take everyday, but I need something more. Anyone in the medical profession or a nurse's opinion would be appreciated.

Symptoms:

stuffy head, sneezing, itchy eyes, runny nose

At the first sign of a cold I load up on vitamin C tablets. This can stop the cold before it takes hold.

What you can do to try to avoid getting sick in the winter includes washing your hands often, or using the hand sanitizer sold in stores.

Plenty of cardiovascular exercise will definitely boost the immune system. My daughter is also in her week of finals in college and she has already started to do a lot of cardio for the same reason.
