How come so many nurses are so fat? |
You would think that they would be health conscious if they were in that profession. But the majority of nurses I see here in Florida are quite overweight. Really big butts. I'm serious. No joke. When I went to the doctor, a nurse weighed me. She said I was at the proper weight for my height. She had mentioned that most Americans are overweight. But you should have seen the nurse. She must've been 5 feet tall and weighed 200 pounds. Almost all of the nurses i see across from the library here that take care of mentally ill, mentally retarded, or elderly folks in the rehab centers or nursing homes are weighing in pretty hefty. I'm for real. My brother and I always laugh about how fat alot of nurses are. My friend is a nurse and she's pretty tiny..but she thinks alot of them put on weight because of the tough shift work ..you eat at the most odd hours of the day..i mean you could be so bussy that you dont get to eat much during the day come home late at night say 10pm..and eat a big meal..then go to bed..that food isnt going to be burned off as energy its just going to be stored..and before that becasue for example if they at **** all all day their metabolism is pretty slow..and body could have gone into what you call "famine"..so the next piece of food they eat gets stored 'just incase theres no more food comming".."Agghh hahah!" Who knows, but I had one tell me I should lose a little weight. I will agree I was about 20 pounds overweight, but she was 50 Lbs or more and told me I needed to exercise more. well on my chart it says I run alot or indicates that because I have a low blood pressure because of it . my reply was in addition to the 30-35 miles I already run a week. I see it as telling your child not to use swear works and then every other word that comes out of your mouth is one. One should practice what they preach You can be healthy and still be a bit overweight. |
