Any gift ideas for male nursing educators?

I graduate this May and would like to give my instructor something besides a thank you note. Any ideas? Maybe something for his office related to the nursing profession. I don't know. It's very hard for a man.

Ask him what is one of his favorite stores that he likes to shop at and get him a gift card so that he can buy what he wants. I'm a guy and I doubt that he would want something for his office, he probably has all he wants in his office.

Also, a very nice pen would be a good gift. Not the pens in Wal-mart that cost $5.00, but maybe a silver pen. A pen that would cost maybe about $50.00 or more is the type of pen I'm talking about. Do a search on Yahoo Shopping for Silver Pens to get a good idea.

according to what you want to spend-- stethescopes, hemastats, penlights, etc are always usefully. or how about a subscription to a nursing mag in his field of interest
