Which one profession is better Nursing or Radiologic Tecnologist ?

Which one profession is better Nursing or Radiologic Tecnologist ?

As a cardiologist, I believe you may leave yourself with more career options if you pursue a degree in nursing. With a BSN degree you can pursue many different fields of medicine and nursing---whether in a hospital setting, an office, the community. . .and with an advanced degree, even more areas are available. There are many days I wish I'd pursued nursing and became a nurse anesthetist. And nurse practitioners are in such demand now. . . Nursing is a great field.

more $$$ in nursing

Both are excellent careers.

It is your decision.

It is more difficult getting into a Program

in a University as a Radiologist; whereas

with Nursing, to become an R.N. is much

easier. But if you only want to become a

Tech. there are many private, but expensive

colleges you can get into right away.

Any profession, whether Radioligist, or a Tech

or an R.N. is excellent, pays good, and a person

can always easily find a good job in these

fields !! And you seldom ever get laid off !!!

From an R.N. with a Master's Degree.

You asked an excellent Question.

Happy Holidays to You, and You will have a

happy, successful future. Your making wise

choices. Be proud of yourself.

Nursing. It pays more, there are more openings for nurses (especially Registered Nurses), and you can specialize in a specific nursing field....making more money than regular nurses...talking only about RNs.

i think nursing
:)

you'll make more money as a nurse, but the work is a lot harder. It's also more rewarding. X-ray tech won't pay as well, but it's a lot easier. Plus, in my experience working in a hospital, the radiologists seem a lot more pleasant then the rest of the doctors.
