I'd say the #1 ethical issue in nursing is patient/elder abuse. The Senate Committee on Aging estimates that there are 10 million cases each year, but only about 10% of those get reported thro... There was such a shortage for nurses, that when we did our clinical in the hospital, all the nurses had horrible attitudes because they were over... Steady job and you get to help people to feel better. ...I am not a nurse, but I think it would be a great profession to go into. If did it I would become a registered nurse (RN), since they make more money. RNs are in high demand and can get a job any... Wow, you can really make this position shine on your resume. Did you ever deploy? Go TDY? Assist in setting up and operating an Air Transportable Hospital? Serve in combat? Supervise a team of nurs... The top ten reasons for becoming a nurse. 10. Higher pay than your local fast food joint. The hours are worse but you don't have to ask your patients "Do you want fries with that"... Nurses that I have talked to here in USA find it the most wanted job skill at the present time, and well paid.
