What influenced you in taking up a nursing profession?

I was the little kid that would clean and bandage the scraped up knees of my peers. I guess it was just destiny. I have been a CNA for 6 years and going to college for my RN. I can't imagine any other career for me. I'm good at what I do and I'm going to be a great nurse.

Had no clue until 15 years later when I started seriously looking into biblical text; its called a "servants heart". Its a gift; each of us is given a talent/gift from God and its up to us as individuals to make use of that talent/gift for the good of others. Nursing is just one way of fulfillying that need.
