What do you think about the nursing profession? |
tell me from which country you are from As a student nurse myself I acn tell you that it is alot of very hard work for very little pay! You dont wanna know mate Dead end job. Its a noble profession cos those that stay provide a much needed service for the wider community. It is poorly paid so the ones that stay are dedicated to it. They deserve our praise and thanks every time we cross their path, or they ours. I think as a career it should be avoided, the works hard, the management structure leaves a lot to be desired most of the management have no nurse training and little to do with looking after the public especially when they are at they're most vunerable, wished I'd chosen something else as I feel totally demoralised. I think... When I as a 2nd year nursing student find myself "teaching" a post-graduate Bsc Nurse clinical procedures, then there is definately something wrong within the "Nursing Profession". The Bsc is qualified (on paper) to work as a Sister and be responsible for a whole ward of patients and staff. Laughable and detrimental to your National Health for sure! |
