Why is Philosophy important in the nursing profession? So you can appear to be wise....and you will having studied the wise men of all time. Philosophy allows a nurse to continue to aid other patients . . . even after one dies. It is important for humans to study Philosphy to come to a better understanding of themselves. |

However, the age of the current RNs is high, and there was a period when people did not go into the field due to the poor salary. Now the salary is bette... I dont know the sorts of things they are after , but lots of things from blood pressure readings , to cat scans use things from physics in a practical way. blood pressure ultrasound cat scan... Minimal pay for maximum hours and unbelievable responsibility. Did you know that if a nurse gives a medication that is ordered by an MD and it is an inappropriate order written by the MD, the nurse... wow!.. I completely see the opposite of the other posters.. I think the nurses are respected here.. They are paid nicely and in great demand.. I have seen a load of british nurses coming in lately ... |
