Running and dieting please help!? |
Okay so two weeks ago I started the b vitamin shot and taking phentermine to lose weight, the doctor also wanted me to go on a low carb for the 1st month. He barely let me join the program because I am technically not overweight. I am 5'4 and weighed 137, but I had absolutly no energy. So I began running, the pills help me to have the energy to do so and I run or jog about 4-5 miles 5 days a week. Well today I had my 2 week check up and had only lost 3-4 pounds. The nurse said that I should have dropped at least 10 pounds. I said that it was because I am gaining muscle, and she said that I need to do the no carb and not jog for the next couple weeks. I want to keep jogging, and don't want to go no carb. What can I do to maximize wieght loss so I can stay on the program? I eat healthy, should I start jogging twice a day. I am sure that if I don't lose at least 8 pounds in the next 2 weeks they may not let me continue. Did you notice that in your question you did not mention at all the "problem" you are trying to solve? Your weight loss is normal. |
