Weight watchers success, post partum?

i want to do weight watchers after i have my baby, in october. i was wondering 1) if they have a program for nursing moms and 2) if it is a successful, easy diet plan to go on to?

personal experience??

WW is great.. you can eat just about anything, as long as you modify it a bit. Like if you want a burrito, use chicken instead of beef and fat free sour cream instead of regular, omit the cheese or use very little (or lower fat), etc.. So you get basically exactly what you want, so you're not craving other things. It's a healthy way to lose weight, as it's not a fad. You'll have to look some point values up during the day, but it's not too much of a hassle for me. They have a free 1 week trial right now.. After that it's 17 dollars a month. Also, 30 dollars I believe for the first month in addition to the 17 (registration fee), but you never have to pay it again, even if you quit and come back like me (did nutrisystem for a while). Anywho, it does have suggestions for pregnant/nursing women, like up your intake of dairy, fruits, etc., but I haven't paid much attention since I'm not pregnant or nursing. :o) Their customer service people respond quickly, so I'd imagine you can always ask them. I'd suggest you go for the 1 week trial.. you don't have to pay anything for 7 days, and then you can cancel if you don't like it. The message boards are helpful too.. I'm talking about the online plan, by the way. It's helpful, definitely, and you lose just enough weight to keep you motivated, but not have it come back right away when you stop.. again, it's not a fad, it's a lower calorie/fat way of eating the things you want with some minor modifications. It's great. Good luck! :o)

i go to ww and it is easy to follow, u have a choice of 2 plans points or the core, i am on the points plan which means u can eat what u like as long as u point everything, they will work out how many points u r allowed, it is very easy and u will get support, u should go for it, dunno if they do a programme for nursing mums but go along to a session and they will tell u, its 拢5.50 per session in the uk

they have councel for all stages of weight control. After you have the baby..you will automatically start losing weight if you are careful with your diet. You gain weight in pregnancy due to fluid build up..slowed metabolism..inreased appetite...decreased activity..and of course the fetus and placenta and amniotic fluid...you have a good chance of rapid weight loss if you work at it...good luck
