Are Loyola University students and teachers racist???

I'm looking into the nursing program, but I'm not sure if because I'm a minority this will affect my getting accepted

Specify which Loyola University you are talking about. I have found at Loyola University Chicago that both people are really kind. They take their Jesuit faith really seriously so they try to help the whole person. I'm a minority student and I have found the campus and the academic settings helpful, non judgmental, and welcoming. Race doesnt get you in or keep you out. You have to be a stellar student. In the days of US News Rankings, schools like Loyola only want students who have shown that they can excel in rigorous curriculum. My advice is to worry less about race and focus on making your application stronger.
