What should I get my Associates in if i want to become a social worker?

I am currently in a nursing program, but i was thinking of switching into social work....

Psychology, Sociology, Human Development. Basically anything that has to do w/working with people. The more social science courses you take the less you will have to take when you transfer to a 4 year.

What is most important is to cover the prerequisites for the major. Go to the college website and the social work page in particular. They will tell you prerequisites. Will usually include psych, soc, a cultural course (ethnic studies), human bio, and statistics (sometimes also an intro to social work). Your AA is less important than this. However, the list the last poster suggested will usually allow you to take and count prerequisites. But literally any AA will work as long as you have the prerequisites. DA
