Does anyone know any good Universities in the south US with reasonable tuition?

Preferably in the $10,000-$14,000 range of Out of State tuition.

Nursing program is also needed.

University of West Florida has a good nursing program, as does University of Florida or Florida State.

University of West Florida, however, has a $16000 price tag for out of state. don't let the extra cost sway you. the nursing program is very good if you want to have a small class and a solid education, as well as working in the field. (14 nursing students worked with Katrina victims in Biloxi. )

University of Florida and Florida State University are both $17000 if you are out of state, compared to around $11000 if you were in state and living on campus.

however, i believe the extra $3,000 is acceptable because the health majors at University of Florida study at the UF Health Science Center, which has oodles of health related stuff. the nursing program is ranked among the top in the nation, and you can do an accelerated B.S.N. degree to get to your master's program faster.

depending on which state you live depends on what the cost will be.

if money is an issue, look into getting scholarships. sometimes staying in state is a good thing b/c you get state funded scholarships.

Look into Clemson University in South Carolina. They are typically ranked among the top 50 universities and have a good nursing program - plus it's a public school, so they probably have low tuition.

Colleges and universities throughout the USofA charge different rates depending upon whether or not a student is a resident of said state or a non-resident.

If you are not a resident (having lived in the state for a minimum of six months) you will pay a great deal more.

The cost of each will vary. Contact any and all universities you are interested in.
