one of my friend was a med student, and he would go to a newly grad and sometimes straight to doctors at a local hospital care and asked if he could buy, borrow or make copies of a certain book.

Its barnes and Noble they sell new and used text book. Search by the ISBN number of the book(s) you want.

amazon, used book stores, and ebay are all good choices. also ask around family and friends who majored in the medical field they may b able to help.
