Question about my GPA and how to improve it.?

Does anybody here live in Boston MA? I have a question I currently go to MCC and I need to improve my GPA right now it's like 2.20 and I need to make it go higher because am trying to apply for the nursing program at U Mass Boston I know that they require you to have like a really good GPA and good grades and stuff and am working my best on getting that I am almost done with my pre req and am taking just one class this semester. So do you think that my GPA will go up if I get a "B" or something in A&P2 or do I have to retake my biology class over again so I can get a much better grade and what do you think my chances are of being accepted at U Mass if my GPA goes up to like 2.50? thnks for all of ur help.

sleep with your teachers

Study more and text message less and get off the phone and into the books. It's all up to you.

call admissions and ask them..it is a bad GPA................

Well, I live in mass. I cant tell you how much it will aefect your GPA. It depends on how many classes youve previously taken. A "B" wont hurt your GPA but if youve already taken 8 classes lets say it wont have a profound effect. A 2.2 may get you into UMASS boston anyways but the nursing program may be more difficult to get into. Take all the classes you can that wont be a waste of your time and start getting A's. Three 4.0's to a 2.20 from 8 classes will raise your GPA to a 2.69.

I DONT LIVE IN MASS BUT I HAVE AN IDEA TAKE MORE CLASSES STUFF THAT COME EASSY TO YOU (SAY FOR INSTANCE YOUR GOOD IN MATH TAKE THAT) AND WHEN YOU GET GOOD GRADES THAT WILL BRING UP YOU OVERALL GPA

----GOOD LUCK---
