Do I need to take this class? |
I am planning on going into nursing, but can not apply to the nursing program until I have met all the pre-req's. One of the Pre-Reqs is Elementary Algebra. However on the placement exam, I placed into intermediate Algebra. Am I still required to take the Elementary Algebra? Well really I think your best bet is to check in with the nursing program you want to apply to. Perhaps they have a website, but it may also be a good idea to see if you can schedule a meeting with someone in the Admissions department of the nursing program so you can ask all the questions you have. No you're not going to have to take Elementary Algebra if you go ahead and take Intermediate Algebra. Check with your advisor, if its a prerequisit you probably will have to take it, same with psych, you took it a long time ago, check if it still counts. |
