Which program is harder to get into? the nurse program or pharmacist?

Nursing: there are several tiers of nursing: AA, BA, MS, PhD
Pharmacy: you can only apply for a PharmD. degree.

So what does it mean? Pharmacy starts with a doctoral degree, while nursing with a bachelor degree or associate degree. And as we all know, it is harder to apply for a doctoral degree than a bachelor degree. I hope this answers your question.

I think a nurse program.

Pharmacy programs are much harder to get into academically, but nursing slots are so competitive that in some cases the nursing might be harder. If you take the first two years of chemistry, biology and related subjects, do very well, and then decide which route you would like to take. A good undergraduate program with a pharmacy school is your best bet if you want to go the pharmacy route (like Creighton). If you are interested, there is a new pharmacy school in Hilo Hawaii that is part of the state university system. While new, it is slightly less competitive and Hilo would be a nice place to spend five or so years.
