Are there any nursing programs in california that do not require a teas test for entry? |
Are there any nursing programs in california that do not require a teas test for entry? Depends on where you go. My school didn't require the test (SAC in Orange County). I looked into other nursing schools in OC and I don't think they required them. I don't know if you are looking into 4-year colleges. They may require the testing since nursing is an impacted program. I live in the Riverside county and so far, Palomar College in San Marcos, CA doesn't require the TEAS test until 2008. I have looked around online and most community colleges are requiring it now. Starting next sememster, my school San Jacinto College in Menifee, CA is starting this requirement. It sucks! I hope its not that hard. All I know is that if you don't pass it, the nursing program will ask you to take a couple more classes. Good Luck! |
