University of Pittsburgh Nursing?

What GPA must be maintained? Do Parents have access to GPA? How difficult is the Nursing Program. Any experiences you would like to share?

Don't know particulars about University of Pittsburgh, but what I do know is that the grading scale of all nursing schools is higher than every other school.

74% is a D
83% is a C
92% is a B

So your daughter would need to maintain at or above a 75% in all classes. If you are footing the bill, then you will have the report cards mailed to you.

Nursing school is really tough. On top of coursework, there are clinical practicums that she must perform. These are usually 2-hour hour days of working per week. It is hard to work on top of that. I did that, but I did little else.
